Lewat balutan genre barat dan drama, Alentejo Sem Lei (1991) menawarkan tontonan yang cukup menarik perhatian. Set in Alentejo in the mid-19th century, in the period following the Liberal Wars. In a sparsely populated and almost wild land, without shadow and without law, violence dictates the existence of Bando do Zarolho.
